This privacy policy explains how Again ("we", "our", or "us") handles your data. We built this app with a local-first and privacy-first core because we believe your relationships and memories are strictly your own business.

1. What We Collect

We do not collect any personal data.

Again is designed as a standalone, offline-first application on your iOS device.

• You do not need to create an account.
• We do not run any remote servers to collect, store, or analyze your data.

All the data you input into the app—including friends' names, meetup records, dates, location coordinates, notes, and photos—is saved exclusively on your device and backed up automatically to your iCloud account (if you have iCloud Backup enabled) using Apple's SwiftData local storage.

2. Location Tracking

We do not track your location in the background. The app only accesses location services to display the map UI and allows you to attach a coordinate to a meetup specifically when you choose to do so. We do not transmit or broadcast this information anywhere.

3. Contact & Address Book Access

We do not upload or scrape your device's Contacts. We prioritize a manual, deliberate approach to recording interactions rather than automatically parsing your phone's address book.

4. App Analytics and Third-Party SDKs

We do not embed third-party advertising tracking tools or user analytics SDKs. There is no telemetry sent to us regarding how often you open the app or how many friends you have logged.

5. Security & Your Control

Since your data stays strictly on your device, you remain in complete control.

• You can delete a friend profile, a meetup, or completely wipe all data locally from within the app at any time. Once deleted locally, it is gone.
• We cannot restore your data if you lose your phone or delete the app without an iCloud backup, because we never possess a copy of your records in the first place.
